All of us who founded Bareyo Residences have been in love with Cantabria for a long time. But a few months ago, one of us started thinking seriously about the chance to have his own place here. Now, before it gets overcrowded, while it's still possible to enjoy the calm and the unique surroundings of Cantabria

The opportunity

Through a friend, an unexpected opportunity comes up in March 2026. A set of plots in the town of Bareyo are up for sale. It's time to start thinking and turn a crazy idea into reality, but there's still a lot to analyze and plenty of numbers to run before taking the plunge on this project

The decision

In May 2026, the moment to decide arrived. Either we put down a deposit on the land, or it would start being offered to other potential buyers. The decision had already been made. We had visited the plots, we knew the area, and above all, our excitement for the project was through the roof. That's the moment this project truly begins — and everything that happens from here on out
